graveyards

The light was fading and the air was cool and moist. We traipsed around with our tripods slung over our shoulders, or in my case sometimes cradled in my arms, and randomly composed and shot scenes of interesting gravestones. In the middle of the graveyard was a large, granite slab surrounded by fresh flowers. It intriguied us, so we went, only to find it was a freshly dug grave. You could see where the rectangle of topsoil was laid down, and none of the flowers had wilted. The name hadn't even been carved onto the surface of the rock yet. The air was saturated with a sickly sweet scent, so we took our snapshots and hurried over to another section of the cemetery. Eventually the sun dipped behind the trees, casting the cemetery in a gray shadow, and we gathered our items and left.

i'm from the ikasu forums (started the topic) thanks for the response, and my apologies for not getting here sooner. i'm sure you can understand the mild panic of getting ready for the con. couldn't look at your art yet, but i'll get to it soon i'm sure. thanks again.
